ISM welcomes education innovator Alex Beard

As part of our Resilience Week, on September 13th and 14th ISM was pleased to host a 2-day speaker series with Alex Beard, renown education innovator and author of “Natural Born Learners”.

Speaking with our students on the topic of “The Future Belongs to the Learn-it-Alls”, Alex discussed their unique position as the ‘ReGeneration’ in the face of challenges like AI and climate change. In separate sessions with staff and parents, he provided an array of insights and perspectives from around the world on the educational landscape, delving into the topic of “How to Teach the Future”, in which he highlighted the importance of innovation in our classrooms, including components of motivation that can be honed, to prepare our students for an ever-evolving world.
