Today, the ISM community came together to celebrate the official opening of its new school building at Testimonio II, with the event graced by the presence of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco.

All students from Years 4 to 13, staff and distinguished guests gathered in the atrium for the highly anticipated ceremony, which began with the playing of the Monegasque national anthem. His Serene Highness then cut the ribbon, officially marking the inauguration of our new school, followed by the unveiling of the official plaque. His Serene Highness was then given a guided tour of the school with Monaco’s Minister of State, Mr Didier Guillaume, exploring key areas such as the Early Years Library and the state-of-the-art Digital Immersive Room, offering a glimpse into the innovative learning spaces that ISM provides.

In the auditorium, guests were then treated to a piano solo and a heartwarming performance by the Primary School choir, after which the Director delivered a speech highlighting the school’s vision and thanking the donors and supporters who helped bring the project to life. Our inauguration celebration concluded with a reception in the atrium, where the ISM community shared in the excitement of this new chapter in the school’s history. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us for this momentous occasion, with particular thanks to the members of the Monaco government who joined us!
