Well done to the 25 ISM students who participated in the 2022 Sophia Antipolis Model United Nations (SAMUN) conference, held this week on April 28th and 29th at the Centre Internationale de Valbonne.
Students have embraced participating in this year’s SAMUN conference with confidence and understanding, and after two intense days of lobbying and merging, we are pleased to share the vast array of awards won by our wonderful MUN cohort.
Among the awards for best resolutions, Anna from the environment committee won best resolution as well as Theresia from the security council, a notable achievement for a highly challenging committee. Resolutions from Charlotte and Mila were also voted the best in their respective committees.
For best delegate awards, Sophia representing India and Charlotte representing the Philippines in the human rights committee both walked away with this sought-after accolade. Within the political committee, ISM had a clean sweep of best delegate awards, with Mila representing Canada, Arabella representing UK and Margherita representing India all being awarded best delegate. Within the environment committee, congratulations to Mirela, who walked away with the best delegate award. Congratulations to all, and thank you to all of this year’s participants!
